WordPress SEO plugin costs

What the table says

• 6 plugins can be ranked on a stated yearly or monthly US-dollar price. The other 1 states its price without a term, in another currency, or only as a lifetime or one-time payment, so it sits below the ranking.
• 1 plugin sells a lifetime or one-time plan.
• 2 of 7 state what renewal costs on at least one plan; the rest do not say.
• 4 of 7 state a refund window, from 14 to 30 days.

How the table is ranked

• "Cheapest paid plan" skips free plans. It counts only plans with a stated yearly price, a monthly price or a monthly price billed yearly, in US dollars. If the only yearly plan listed is a top tier such as Agency, the plugin is not ranked.
• A plan with no stated billing term is shown but never ranked, because an annual price and a monthly price are not the same number. Prices in euros, pounds or rupees are shown in their own currency and left out of the ranking.
• Renewal is shown only where the vendor states it; otherwise the cell says so. Vendors change prices, so check the vendor's page before you buy.

What this leaves out

The table covers the top 1,000 plugins by active installs. A plugin is left out if it has no public price, no pricing page of its own, or a page that prices something other than the plugin. Free plugins, and plugins whose paid version is sold only through a marketplace, do not appear. The price of a vendor's service, such as hosting or an API, is not counted as the plugin's price.
