Best WordPress Hosting (October 2026): Compared
Five WordPress hosts, compared using the plan information each one publishes. We have not run speed or uptime tests, so this list ranks on published specs and prices, not benchmarks. Prices change often, so each shows the date we checked it.
How we choose
Products are ranked by the criteria below, in this order of importance. Commission rates are not a criterion. WPBundle is built with Astro, not WordPress, so we don't run any WordPress theme, plugin or host that we'd be tempted to favour. We do earn commissions on some links, and we mark them.
- WordPress tooling included. What the entry plan includes for running WordPress itself: backups, staging, migrations, a CDN, SSL and developer access.
- Price transparency. Whether the introductory and renewal prices are both shown, and on what billing term. A low first-term price that jumps at renewal counts against a host.
- Support. Whether human support is included on the entry plan.
- Room to grow. What it costs, and how simple it is, to add sites, traffic or resources.
- Entry price. The cheapest plan listed, with its billing term. This is weighed last so a low price cannot outrank the other criteria.

Questions
Did you test these hosts?
No. This list is based on the plan information each host publishes, read on October 30, 2026. We have not run speed or uptime tests. Where the author has used a host personally, its entry will say so.
Why do some prices differ between intro and renewal?
Many hosts discount the first term and charge more at renewal. We show both when the host's own page states them, and we say when it does not.
Are the prices current?
They were correct on the date shown beside each one. Hosting prices and promotions change often, so confirm the price and billing term at checkout.
