Questions the author answers
How does this compare to front end builders?
While front end builders are nice and easy to use with simple content, there is no substitute for robustness of good back end builder in case you want to build complex layouts. Once you get to know it, Bold Builder, with its advanced capabilities (like stacked clipboard and non-AJAX instant editing), is the fastest way to build your pages.
Is there a premium version?
No. Actually this is premium version, only difference is that it’s free. 🙂
Which themes are supported?
It is not possible to test Bold Builder with all themes – it should work fine with most but we recommend Twenty Sixteen and Twenty Seventeen themes. Also, in case you want to use our premium themes, you can find them here: BoldThemes Portfolio. Please note that BoldThemes premium themes launched before June 1, 2017 will not have all the options described in this article.
Where do I report security bugs found in this plugin?
Please report security bugs found in the source code of the Bold Page Builder plugin through the Patchstack Vulnerability Disclosure Program. The Patchstack team will assist you with verification, CVE assignment, and notify the developers of this plugin.
Latest changelog entry
- Security: the Section element’s YouTube video settings are now read into a fixed list of known settings, checked against the type each one expects, and written to the page as data rather than as JavaScript, preventing a stored XSS where a crafted value closed the settings object and ran script for every visitor to the page (authenticated, content-editing users) — reported by LevinityCyber. This completes the Section element fix in 5.9.8, which escaped the value but left it being evaluated as JavaScript.

Where this page's numbers come from
Read from the WordPress.org plugin API on , when WordPress 7.1.4 was the current release. WordPress.org rounds active installs into buckets. These are the directory's figures, not my verdict, and I haven't tested this plugin.
